What ChatGPT says to question What’s Vector Art?

February 6, 2023 by VectorFast

Vector art is a type of digital illustration created using mathematical algorithms and geometric shapes, such as points, lines, and curves, to represent images. The advantage of vector art is that it can be resized without losing quality or becoming pixelated, making it ideal for use in logos, illustrations, and graphic design. Vector art files are typically saved in formats such as AI, SVG, or EPS.

Vectorize Logo

To vectorize a logo means to convert a pixel-based image of a logo into a vector graphic, which is a mathematical representation of lines, shapes, and colors. Vector graphics are resolution-independent, meaning they can be resized without losing quality, and they are often used in design and printing.

There are several methods to vectorize a logo, including manual tracing, using automatic tracing tools, or by redrawing the logo from scratch in vector software such as Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, or CorelDraw.

If you have access to vector software, you can simply import the pixel-based logo and then trace it, or redraw it, to create a vector version.

If you don’t have access to vector software, there are online tools that can help you vectorize a logo automatically, such as Vector Magic or Adobe Illustrator online. Simply upload the pixel-based logo and the tool will trace it for you. However, be aware that the quality of the resulting vector graphic may vary and manual adjustments may be needed.

Infographics: How a bill becomes a law

December 18, 2014 by VectorFast

Info graphics

Designed infographics on ‘How a bill becomes a law’. I used Adobe Illustrator CS-6 to create the graphics. Below is the text, the info graphics is based on.

How a Bill Becomes a Law

A bill is introduced in either of the two houses of Congress: the House of
Representatives or the Senate. The bill is referred to a committee. If approved,
it’s debated and voted upon by the entire house. If the house does not approve
the bill, they can either send it back to the committee it came from or abandon
it. If the bill is approved, it goes to the other house where the same process is
repeated. If the bill is approved by the other house, it goes to the President. If
the President signs it, it becomes law. The President has the option to veto the
bill and send it back to Congress. Both houses of Congress then have three
choices:
• They can change the bill so it is more to the President’s liking;
• They can agree that the bill will never be passed and let it go;
• They can vote to override the President’s veto.

May 24, 2014 by VectorFast

The editor wanted to try something different than laying out gray looking products in boxes for the product review supplement. The idea of experimenting  robot from those products popped up. I was apprehensive first but gave it my best shot. Now, it’s been nine years since 2004 that  we are designing robots with different themes which is either based on a popular TV show, movie or an event for the product supplement. The robottheme has become unique  brand identity for the Product Buyers Guide.
